Our Office Protocols For Treating Patients During Covid-19

Hurst Dental Health takes the health and safety of our patients, employees, and guests seriously. We are all in this together. We are committed to reducing the risk of exposure to Covid 19. Our protocols are based on information and guidance from the Center for Diseases Control (CDC), the American Dental Association (ADA) and Occupational Health and Safety Administration. We also are up to date with the guidance from other public officials at the state and local levels. Hurst Dental Health is focused on four lines of defense.

1. Limiting the number of people together at the same time in the waiting room.

2. Sanitizing all areas that are frequently touched between each patient or guest in the waiting room.

3. Employees are required to wear personal protection equipment including N95 masks, face shields, and disposable gowns or full sleeve scrubs.

4. Pre-Screening questions are asked of each patient at their courtesy call and at the time of appointment when you arrive. Also your temperature will be taken upon arrival.

We ask that you call our office to let us know you have arrived in the parking lot for your visit. One of our team members will let you know if you need to wait a few minutes or to come right in. A mask is required to enter the building and you will need to leave it on until Dr. Hurst or a clinical team member asks you to remove it. If you do not have a mask we can provide you with one. We ask that only the patient with an appointment come inside to their appointment. Exceptions are made for patients with young children or disabled patients. Please see the PreScreening questions on the forms page, to preview the questions that will be asked when we call you before your appointment.
